I believe it is already supported and third party web gallery engines can use HTML5.
The main changes to Web are:
- Rewriting of built-in Flash web gallery engine so it displays colour managed output
- Replacement of built-in browser on Windows with Webkit-based code
Never used WEB, not sure how it works, what it does…
Such a shame that there is no added funtionality in the web module.
I thought the ability to publish multiple galeries/albums with an index page without resorting to plugin would be easy andca popular addition. Fantastic program, but for me this is a flaw.
I think it depends on the the built-in browser that is used in the WEB module. I hope it is no longer IE7 or worse.
Correct, and with Lightroom 4 the built-in browser is now based on Webkit
